GNO... a complete success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to GNO last night! It was a complete success! We had an overwhelming response and it was so exciting to see students excited about packing boxes for the needy. I talked to Peggy last night on the phone and she was blown away by the help she was receiving this year. The can drive helped collect more cans than she has ever had... The bake sale raised enough money for each family to have a turkey Thanksgiving Day... and all the hands we had volunteer last night made the distribution process A LOT easier for her and her crew. Thank you so much!
Also, a big shout out to Rachel for being my photographer for the night... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! (everyone stay off the road!)

My Glorious

by Delirious
The world's shaking
With the love of God
Great and glorious
Let the whole Earth sing
And all you ever do
Is change the old from new
People we believe that...
God is bigger than
The air I breathe
The world we'll leave
God will save the day
And all will say
My glorious!
Clouds are breaking
Heaven's come to earth
Hearts awakening
Let the church bells ring
And all you ever do
Is change the old from new
People we believe that...
God is bigger than
The air I breathe
The world we'll leave
God will save the day
And all will say
My glorious! My glorious!

1 Peter 3:15
"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
Excerpt from Last Night's Special Ops:
Along with our proactive kinds of evangelism, the apostle Peter suggests a reactive one also. Which is to say, live your life, conduct your relationships and life in righteousness, so then when the questions come as to why you do this or that, you are prepared to explain how you keep God at the center of your life. The point, of course, is don't keep quiet!
