Legacy APRIL Update

Hi Legacy Students, Parents and Leaders...
It's spring! CFL applications are in, school is winding down and once in a great while I get to open the windows of my car and let the fresh air in.

One of my favorite things about spring is Easter. I love being able to reflect on what Christ did for me. This morning I read a short devotional from Max Lucado that I wanted to pass along.
“This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge.”  Acts 2:23 Jesus planned his own sacrifice.He intentionally planted the tree from which his cross would be carved. He willingly placed the iron ore in the heart of earth from which the nails would be cast . . .Christ was the one who set in motion the political machinery that would send Pilate to Jerusalem . . .He didn’t have to do it—but he did.
Isn't that powerful? Doesn't it make you feel loved by God?
It did for me. Have a wonderful April!
{Pastor Lori}

Legacy MARCH Update

Hi Legacy Students, Parents and Leaders...
I apologize for getting the update out a day late, but I wanted to make sure to get everyone as much information about March as possible. Can you believe it's March?

Sitting here writing all of you, I am confident of 2 things: 1. God is good and 2. He gives strength to the weary. There is a scripture that has been rolling around in my head the past couple of days and I want to share it with all of you. It was actually a scripture that Pastor Craig Groeschel tweeted: Psalm 18:29 "In Your strength I can crush an army, with my God I can scale any wall."

In the light of last week, please contact me if there is anyone that needs to talk. That's why we have a youth ministry: to minister to teenagers, so if you need that right now, please don't hesitate to let me know. I love all of you!
